I have Just Cause 3 on PC as well so I will give that game a shot in the near future.Complete a requirement to receive an achievement on Steam. Overall, I am really glad I gave this game another shot and I do recommend it however, I do not think I would play it again. There are vehicle, weapon, and health upgrades scattered throughout these settlements, which makes them worth clearing however, it can get tedious to clear larger bases. These settlements can be villages, airports, and military bases. There are 368 different settlements in this game to create chaos. I used jets and helicopters for long distances, despite having a fast travel mechanic, so I can destroy government structures on the way to my destination. Traversing the world with the parachute and grappling hook was my go-to for shorter distances since it was almost always quicker than driving. Flying is also arcadey, but it definitely feels better than driving. There are very few games in which I have to use a controller to drive vehicles in, and this is one of them. A lot of the vehicles feel like you’re driving a bus on an ice rink or a zero-turn lawnmower. There are over 100 vehicles in the game and the driving is very arcadey. The driving was terrible in this game, even for the year it came out. The side missions that they have don’t feel unique to their factions, except maybe for the stronghold missions. The groups all feel like they could’ve been one big group. The game has you going around the fictional country of Panau completing missions for the three main revolutionary groups. I didn’t play all of the side missions, but most of the ones I did play took 5-10 minutes to complete, with some being slightly shorter or longer. Another had me assassinate someone, then it was mission complete. For example, one side mission had me destroy 3 helicopters with another helicopter, and it literally took me 30 seconds to do that. Some of the cutscenes for the side missions are around the same length as the actual mission itself. I found myself skipping the cutscenes before every side mission because they all played out the same and were uninteresting. I wanted to play this game for its gameplay. The story was uninteresting and a bit bland, but I didn’t play this game to get a deep and compelling story. I experienced a few crashes over my 15 hours of playing this game, but it was more playable than it was when I tried it in 2015. Fast forward to June 2022, and I decided to give Just Cause 2 one more chance. I finally bought the game shortly after I built my first gaming PC in 2015, but I could not get it to run without crashing every 5-15 minutes. For one reason or another, I did not get the game when it was released. I remember playing the Just Cause 2 demo on my PS3 in 2010 and I loved it.
